Hi there! I'm Silva, an Italian-German digital illustrator based in Northern Italy, where I live in an old farmhouse, with my husband, child, and a cat.

I grew up among the hills and forests of German Bavaria and spent most of my childhood daydreaming and exploring my surroundings, while spinning tales of fairies and other mythical creatures.

Even after 30 years my passion for storytelling remains strong. I love bringing to life quirky characters and fantastical worlds that seamlessly blend the natural and supernatural. 

Holding a Master's degree in Anthropology, which provides a unique perspective and depth to my creative work, I often illustrate characters and elements of folktales and myths from diverse corners of the world.

When I'm not drawing, you'll find me wandering the hills around my house with my child. We love spending time together and he is my greatest inspiration for my creative work.
